✨ What Is an Elopement?
Elopements have evolved from secretive courthouse visits into intentional, romantic ceremonies — often with stunning backdrops and meaningful details. Elopements used to mean running away secretively, but now couples choose this option to prioritize the experience and relationship over a traditional, larger celebration.
Guest Count
Typically 0 to 10 (20 max) guests. Some couples may include immediate family, but many elopements are just the couple, their officiant, and maybe a photographer.
Planning Timeline
2–12 weeks before the ceremony. Elopements are ideal for couples who want to keep things simple and spontaneous or are working with a shorter engagement. We book elopements up to 90 days in advance.
Time Commitment on the Day
Usually 1–2 hours. It’s quick, focused, and deeply personal.
Budget Range
Often the most affordable option. The money saved can go toward travel, future celebrations, or a dreamy honeymoon.
Perfect For
Couples who value privacy or minimalism
Those planning a destination elopement or last-minute vows
Anyone who wants to avoid traditional wedding stress

🌿 What Is a Micro Wedding?
Micro weddings are the perfect middle ground — smaller than a traditional wedding, but more structured than an elopement. Think “intimate, but still a party.”
Guest Count
10 to 50 guests. This lets you include your VIPs without the overwhelm of a huge guest list.
Planning Timeline
3–9 months is common, though many couples plan micro weddings in less time because of reduced logistics.
Time Commitment on the Day
Typically 4–6 hours, including ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and sometimes a small dance party.
Budget Range
More budget-friendly than a standard wedding, but still allows for thoughtful details — flowers, a photographer, a great meal.
Perfect For
Couples who want a personal yet polished celebration
Second weddings or vow renewals
Brides and grooms wanting more quality time with each guest
Those prioritizing experience over guest count
At our Fort Worth micro wedding venue, we specialize in these kinds of events — helping couples create a stress-free, elevated experience with all the beauty of a traditional wedding, just in a more manageable size.

🎉 What Is a Standard Wedding?
This is the traditional full-scale wedding most people envision: large guest list, a full day of festivities, and lots of moving parts.
Guest Count
70+… Depending on your venue and vision, the guest count can vary widely. We seat up to 80!
Planning Timeline
9–18 months or more. Larger weddings take longer to plan due to the number of vendors, venue availability, and logistics.
Time Commitment on the Day
Typically 6–10+ hours. This often includes getting ready, photos, the ceremony, dinner, dancing, and more.
Budget Range
Usually the most expensive option. From catering and decor to entertainment and rentals, costs add up fast.
Perfect For
Couples with large families or friend circles
Those who love to host and want a big celebration
Anyone dreaming of a traditional "all-the-things" wedding day
